Mostly an internal renovation with small extension to the rear, the clients wanted to make the most of their lower ground floor kitchen and dining room that had been a dark and busy space.

Rearranging the room and integrating carefully considered storage solutions, along with opening the rear of the property and reconfiguring garden access, created a more open and breathable space for the family.

To maintain as much light as possible entering the adjoining living room, parametric analysis was employed to find the optimal size and placement of rooflights to maximise light levels.
